LOVE SERIES #2: LOVE IS JUST A BREATH AWAY!

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the Breath of Life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7).

Inhale, now exhale! This is the Breath of Life. It a wonderful gift of Love given to humanity from our Creator.  God’s love and grace gives us the ability to breathe in the Breath of Life. We could not sustain life without it, we would die. It is because of the Breathe of Life that the human body is able to exist in the world.  Yet we taken each breath for granted, as if we have earned God’s wonderful gift of life.  No! It is because of God’s grace that we breathe every breath!  Look around, and witness how many are wasting this precious gift with spiritual obscenities and fleshly monstrous behavior.  Never coming to the knowledge that each breath, is closer to the last.  It is time for each one of us to pause and listen to our heart beating and know that “Love Is Just a Breath Away!”

There are countless people who are now using oxygen tanks to take their next breath.  When they were healthy and able to breathe and fill their lungs with God’s gift of air, many abused their lungs and nostrils with alcohol, cigarettes, drugs and other destructive chemicals.  Now we see them restricted in movement by a plastic cord, and a noise piece and an oxygen tank that dictates to them.  This is not funny nor is it a matter of “I told you so”.  But it is a matter that requires all of us to stop and recognize that we have a Creator, who has given us the ability to inhale and exhale the air we need to survive; and we should be grateful for every breath we take.  The Lord is just a breath away.  When we hear our heart beating, it is witnessing that Love is the giver of life.  It is by the power of almighty God that determines if we will see another sunrise in this life. So, I would say, stop abusing your tomorrows with elements that are destroying your next breath! Give thanks to the God of Love and Mercy.

What about the righteous who are approaching their last breath, you ask?  There are those who are faithful in Christ and are struggling to take one more breath.  Those who spent their lives serving the Lord.  True, however I am reminded that the Apostle Paul ask the Lord to relieve him of his infirmity.  This is written by the Apostle Paul: “And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.  Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Cor. 12:9).  There is a peace in knowing that Love Is Just a Breath Away for those who know God, who comforts his people during their transition from earth to heaven.  These righteous Saints are not afraid to take their last breath.  They know that Love is right beside them to receive them into His Kingdom.  There is no fear in Love, only the blessed assurance that Jesus is always present.  Joy is the reaction to those who take each breath with thanksgiving and praise.  The righteous knows that this life will end and eternity begins!  They have always known and prepared their hearts for their final breath.  Sweetly they release their final breath and it returns to the Creator.

Inhale, now exhale! Love Is Just a Breath Away!  Remember that every breath you take is because of God’s love, mercy and grace.  “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth”. (Ps. 121:1-2).  Every day we should give thanks to the Lord and always know that as a child of God, our last breath in this life, is a new beginning in eternity. God bless you! Amen.
